Richmond, TX – The Fort Bend County Women’s Center would like to invite the community to their PennyWise Resale Center Stafford Grand Opening on February 12, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. at 13645 Murphy Road, Suite 107, between Wendy’s and Murphy’s Deli.
To celebrate, the grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with representatives from the City of Stafford and the Women’s Center to welcome all guests. Jamay Fishback, the “Thrifting Fashionista” will be on site to show customers how to dress like a “Fashionista” for $20 or less. Quilting seminars and how to paint on glass demonstrations using items from the store will also be available throughout the day.
The first 50 customers will receive a free goody bag. Guests will have opportunities to win door prizes, gift baskets and a chance to enter a drawing for a free shopping spree. In addition, as a special thank you to all PennyWise loyal customers, all clothing items in the store will be marked 50% off. Entertainment and refreshments will be provided.
Net proceeds from the sale of items at PennyWise Resale Centers are used to fund the Women’s Center’s essential, life-saving programs. Additionally, many donated items are given directly to the women and children served by the Women’s Center.
You can support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children by donating gently used clothing, electronics, household items and furniture to any of the Fort Bend County Women’s Center’s four PennyWise locations at the following addresses:
