Teen Dating Violence
Teen dating violence is a pattern of abusive behavior in adolescent and young adult relationships.
Like other forms of abuse, it can take shape through physical, emotional/psychological, or sexual abuse, and often it could be a combination.
Unfortunately, teen dating violence occurs much more often than most people think, with approximately one out of every five girls reporting physical and/or sexual abuse.
Other reports state that those between the age of 16 and 24 are more than three times as likely to experience dating abuse as the national average.
